Pauline Bissett

is vice-president of BMC. As a student at Dalhousie University and the University of King's College, she completed with distinction, diplomas in both Journalism and Public Relations. She then embarked on a joint career in media and public relations that has spanned more than 20 years. Her ongoing professional development has included training in crisis communications at the University of Delaware and Arnprior College.

Pauline has received many awards, among them a senior award from the Canadian Public Relations Society, The Greater Moncton Chamber award for Business Excellence (runner up); the Federal Business Bank of Canada's Business Management Award for New Brunswick; and an international award for marketing in the health care field; and, in 1995 she was the regional winner of the Canadian Women Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

Pauline headed many research, marketing and public relations projects throughout Canada, and including some in the United States, West Indies, Caribbean, Great Britain and Spain.

Pauline is a member of the Moncton Chamber of Commerce, the Association of Atlantic Women Business Owners and Business Round Table. She does volunteer work for various non-profit organizations in the Moncton area, and works out of the Moncton office of BMC.
